(Smiles nervously and glances around)

Hi everyone! Mom has been so frequently telling me to update this, so here I am. Actually, I'm at school at the moment, in the library for my study hall. Not too much to be doing, since I can't work out how to do my chemistry. Sigh. On the upside, I fly out for CA tomorrow! Mom, Spence, and Jay left out of Machester yesterday, and tomorrow morning at seven I fly out of Appleton, stop in St. Paul, and finally end up in Sacramento. I think I'm going to spend my time in the air working on all the homework I've been assigned for this week. I have a lot of stuff to get done, and if I can do it on the plane, that would make me very happy.

Hmm, let's see. I had a pretty quiet weekend. Lots of laundry and packing. The lake flies are out here, and they're very disgusting. Especially since there are so many of them! The weather here has been gorgeous, but if you go outside you get landed on by swarms of mosquito-looking bugs. Fortunately, they don't bite or sting.
